Kuratorisk 1-til-1 feedback
Som en del af projektet “Billedkunstnerisk Udviklingsforløb” tilbyder vi kuratorisk 1-til-1 feedback for professionelle billedkunstnere bosat i Region Nordjylland med en række kuratoriske profiler.
Vi annoncerer løbende navne, datoer og tidspunkter.
Møderne er af en times varighed og finder sted på Huset i Hasserisgade, eller online.
Booking forespørgsel:
Der er begrænset kapacitet. Vi foretager derfor en faglig vurdering af alle bookingforespørgsler. Vi matcher kuratorer og kunstneriske praksisser bedst muligt, og vi vurderer på baggrund af udviklingspotentiale og årsag til forespørgsel. Alle professionelle billedkunstnere i Region Nordjylland er velkomne til at søge.
Ansøgningsdeadline er markeret under hver enkelt kurator.

Send en mail til bkuf@skalcontemporary.dk med dit ønske til 1-til-1 feedback.
Mailen skal indeholde følgende:
- Ønske(r) af kurator(er)
- Bekræftelse af, at du kan deltage i pågældende tidsrum
- Om du ønsker at holde møde på Huset eller online. Vi anbefaler, at møderne er med fysisk tilstedeværelse for optimalt udbytte.
- *En kort begrundelse for din forespørgsel (max. 5 linjer). Hvad ønsker du, at få ud af mødet?
- *Vedhæftet CV, bio-tekst og portfolio (og/eller link til hjemmeside/sociale medier med praksisdokumentation), så kuratoren kan få en fornemmelse af din praksis.
*disse elementer indgår i den faglige vurdering af din forespørgsel.
Du modtager en bekræftelse på modtagelse af din mail, samt mødebekræftelse ved tildeling af mødetidspunkt hurtigst muligt efter ansøgningsdeadline.
17. juni 2025, kl. 9-12 samt 14-16 - Nina Wölck, ARIEL Feminism
Ansøgningsdeadline: 6. juni 2025 kl. 10.00Nina Wöhlk er kurator og facilitator med speciale i eksperimenterende udstillingsformater, der integrerer feministisk æstetik og posthumanistiske pædagogikker. Hendes arbejde fokuserer på at anvende æstetiske greb som redskab til systemisk forandring, regeneration og ansvar på tværs af kulturelle og organisatoriske sammenhænge. Hun er medstifter af ARIEL – Feminisms in the Aesthetics, et kuratorisk kollektiv, der arbejder for mere inkluderende og fremsynede tilgange til kuratorisk praksis.
17. juni 2025, kl. 13-17 - Anne Møller Christensen, Skal Contemporary
Ansøgningsdeadline: 6. juni 2025 kl. 10.00Anne Møller Christensen er kurator med speciale i arbejdet med samtidskunst langt fra de store byer og med stedspecifikke udstillings- og projektformater, som værktøj til undersøge, forstå og afkode en kompleks og globaliseret samtid, samt nye tilgange til natur- og landskabskunst. I sin kuratoriske praksis er hun særligt optaget af samtidskunstens sociale potentialer, lokalsamfunds- og byudvikling, deltagelsesprocesser og mødet med nye målgrupper. Hun er medstifter af og kunstfaglig leder på kunsthallen Skal Contemporary i Skagen, og har tidligere udviklet udstillinger og formater på institutioner som C4 Projects, Trapholt, Museet KØN og Alive Festival.
18. juli 2025, 10-15 - Rebekka Laugesen, kurator
Ansøgningsdeadline: 26. juni 2025 kl. 10.00Rebekka Laugesen er kunsthistoriker og kurator. Hun arbejder i krydsfeltet mellem samtidskunst, historie, socialt engagement og politik. Hendes kuratoriske praksis undersøger, hvordan kunst og æstetik kan fungere som strategier for modstand og solidaritet. Hun har udviklet udstillinger og offentlige programmer på institutioner som SMK, ARKEN, Kunsthal N og Copenhagen Contemporary. Hun leder i øjeblikket udstillingsprogrammet 'unboxing' på Four Boxes Gallery, kuraterer Arts & Activism-programmet på Roskilde Festival og tiltræder fra sommeren 2025 som vikarierende udstillingschef på JP/Politikens Hus.
Om Billedkunstnerisk udviklingsforløb:
Billedkunstnerisk udviklingsforløb (BKUF) er et projekt initieret af SKAL Contemporary og Nordjyllands Kunstnerværksteder, der har til formål at facilitere øget professionalisering og udvikling blandt billedkunstnere bosiddende i Region Nordjylland. Projektet arbejder desuden med at facilitere stærkere netværksstrukturer mellem aktører på den nordjyske billedkunstscene samt at etablere en række samarbejder med tidshorisonter, der går ud over projektperioden.
Billedkunstnerisk udviklingsforløb er venligst støttet af Statens Kunstfond, Region Nordjylland og Aalborg Kommune.
Curatorial One-to-One Feedback
As part of the project “Billedkunstnerisk Udviklingsforløb”, we offer curatorial one-to-one feedback for professional visual artists based in the North Denmark Region, in collaboration with a range of curatorial profiles.
We continuously announce names, dates, and times.
The sessions last one hour and take place at Huset in Hasserisgade or online.
Booking request:
Capacity is limited. We therefore carry out a professional assessment of all booking requests. We aim to match curators and artistic practices as accurately as possible, and we assess based on development potential and the reason for the request. All professional visual artists in the North Denmark Region are welcome to apply.
The application deadline is indicated under each individual curator.
How to submit a request:
Send an email to bkuf@skalcontemporary.dk with your request for one-to-one feedback.
The email must include the following:
- Preferred curator(s)
- Confirmation that you are available during the specified time slot
- Whether you prefer to meet at Huset or online. We recommend physical attendance for optimal benefit.
- *A brief explanation of your request (max. 5 lines). What do you hope to gain from the meeting?
- *Attached CV, bio, and portfolio (and/or link to website/social media with documentation of your practice), so the curator can get a sense of your work.
*These elements are part of the professional assessment of your request.
You will receive confirmation of receipt of your email, as well as meeting confirmation upon allocation of a time slot as soon as possible after the application deadline.
17 June 2025, 9:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00 – Nina Wöhlk, ARIEL Feminism
Application deadline: 6 June 2025 at 10:00Nina Wöhlk is a curator and facilitator specialising in experimental exhibition formats that integrate feminist aesthetics and posthumanist pedagogies. Her work focuses on using aesthetic strategies as tools for systemic change, regeneration, and responsibility across cultural and organisational contexts. She is co-founder of ARIEL – Feminisms in the Aesthetics, a curatorial collective working towards more inclusive and forward-thinking approaches to curatorial practice.
17 June 2025, 13:00–17:00 – Anne Møller Christensen, Skal Contemporary
Application deadline: 6 June 2025 at 10:00Anne Møller Christensen is a curator specialising in contemporary art practices outside major cities and in site-specific exhibition and project formats as tools to explore, understand, and decode a complex, globalised present. Her curatorial work focuses particularly on the social potential of contemporary art, local community and urban development, participatory processes, and reaching new audiences. She is co-founder and artistic director of the art space Skal Contemporary in Skagen and has previously developed exhibitions and formats for institutions such as C4 Projects, Trapholt, the Museum KØN, and Alive Festival.
18 July 2025, 10:00–15:00 – Rebekka Laugesen, curator
Application deadline: 26 June 2025 at 10:00Rebekka Laugesen is an art historian and curator. She works at the intersection of contemporary art, history, social engagement, and politics. Her curatorial practice explores how art and aesthetics can serve as strategies for resistance and solidarity. She has developed exhibitions and public programmes at institutions such as SMK, ARKEN, Kunsthal N, and Copenhagen Contemporary. She currently leads the unboxing exhibition programme at Four Boxes Gallery, curates the Arts & Activism programme at Roskilde Festival, and will take up the position of Acting Head of Exhibitions at JP/Politikens Media Group from summer 2025.

“Billedkunstnerisk Udviklingsforløb” (BKUF) is a project initiated by Skal Contemporary and Nordjyllands Kunstnerværksteder, aiming to facilitate increased professionalisation and development among visual artists based in the North Denmark Region.
